HEALTH AND HYGIENE IN BEACH HOTELS

The well-being, safety and health of our guests and employees are the main priorities of our hotels, therefore we have ensured the highest standards of quality of health and hygiene developed in accordance with the guidelines of global and local public health authorities.

All our employees receive constant instructions and use all prescribed protective equipment. The food and beverage service are tailored to the recommendations and HACCP standard while antibacterial and antiviral hand sanitizers are located throughout the hotel to ensure our guests are easy to use along with guidelines for proper behavior and protection measures.

The current situation of the global pandemic requires maximum flexibility.

We are aware of all the challenges when organizing a trip, but our goal is to provide you with a carefree vacation planning.

Accordingly, we have adjusted our cancellation policy:

  • In case restrictions in your country or Croatian state restrictions are valid at the time of your scheduled arrival, we will provide free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival
  • In the event of a state decision on self-isolation upon return to the home country, during your stay, the Hotel will grant a free early termination of stay.
  • Guests who have booked and will book through online travel agencies or other intermediaries are advised to inquire about cancellation conditions with their service provider. The hotel is not responsible for the cancellation policy of its partners.
  • For guests who have reservations without the right to change or cancel upon arrival, the hotel does not approve refunds but approves vouchers in the full value of the amount paid which can be used until the end of 2023. For a possible full refund, please contact your travel insurance.

GENERAL INFORMATION

APPLICATION PROCESS

Check-in takes place at the reception, which protects guests and reception staff with a transparent plexiglass wall. Room cards are disinfected after each contact. Before entering the hotel, prepare your documents or a copy of the document that you will present to the receptionist, to shorten the time spent at the reception. Upon registration, our team will immediately inform you of all regulations and when you register you will receive general guidelines for behavior within the hotel, which are tailored in such a way that, regardless of the situation, you can spend an unforgettable vacation. In case of additional questions, our team will be at your disposal.

LOGOUT PROCESS

During the Covid-19 virus, we recommend all guests to pay their bill in advance (1 day / couple of hours before) to avoid longer stay at the reception. If you want contactless check-out, we have introduced a fast check out procedure, so that the guest is delivered an invoice the night before in the room with a flyer to fill in credit card information, after the guest fills in the data, the amount charged is deducted.

CONSIDERING THE SITUATION WITH THE COVID 19 VIRUS, SHOULD I BRING SOMETHING ELSE WITH ME OTHER THAN THE NORMAL TRAVEL BAGGAGE?

We recommend that you bring your own protective masks with you. In case of need, you can request a disposable protective mask at the reception. Among other things, we recommend that you bring basic medical supplies with you. Please do not use your surface disinfectants, so as not to diminish the effect of our professional products.

WILL THE HOTEL HAVE A PROTECTIVE MASK FOR MOUTH AND NOSE AVAILABLE?

The hotel will provide disposable protective masks, which can be requested at reception with additional fee.

WHERE CAN I SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IF I HAVE SYMPTOMS?

The hotel cooperates with the relevant health authorities. At the hotel itself, the competent staff is familiar with the procedures for dealing with suspected symptoms and ensures that each potentially infected guest receives immediate medical attention and is isolated from other guests and hotel employees. We have prepared the most important contacts of nearby pharmacies, epidemiologists, and ambulances, which will be available to you as soon as possible in case of need.

CAN I PAY IN CASH AT THE HOTEL?

Payment in cash is possible, but card payments are preferred.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO IF I TRAVEL WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE?

The measure of social distance is also applied in the hotel, i.e., the measure of social distance of 2 meters from guests who are not part of your family / partner or friend with whom you are traveling or staying in the hotel should be observed.

HOW CAN I OBTAIN INFORMATION FROM EMPLOYEES WITHOUT GOING TO RECEPTION?

Our team at the reception is also available for information and advice by phone, WhatsApp, or e-mail guestrelation@hotelplaza.hr Despite the current situation, our goal is to get the best possible service and our team will always be at your disposal.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES IN HOTEL AND DESTINATION?

When conducting activities, excursions, etc., we partially depend on the partners for cooperation. Activities carried out by the hotel itself take place when it is possible to comply with security measures.

MEASURES AND SAFETY IN HOTEL RESTAURANTS?

Our compliance plan for restaurants includes current guidance and recommendations from the authorities. All instructions, including regular personal hygiene, are strictly checked. Surfaces and items used by guests and staff are cleaned and disinfected after each use. All employees follow all instructions of the WHO and Croatian epidemiological services. To effectively guarantee the regulation of the minimum distance, instead of the standard buffet mode of serving, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served a la carte based on the daily menu. All tables are arranged to follow the instructions and guidelines of the competent authorities.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS CHANGE DURING YOUR STAY?

The hotel cannot take any responsibility or offer a guarantee in this regard. Please check the terms and conditions of your travel insurance regarding cancellation policies, the possibility of changing your reservation in the short term and travel health insurance.

CAN ELEVATORS BE USED?

The use of elevators is permitted in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations of the competent state authorities.

ARE THERE CERTAIN RULES FOR USING WELLNESS?

In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus infection, we adjusted the use of wellness in accordance with the recommendations. To respect the measure of social distance of 2 meters, there can be a certain number of people at the same time, except for families and groups staying together in the hotel, which is indicated by the signs within the wellness. All types of services are available for use, except the Turkish bath.

CONSIDERING THE SITUATION, DOES THE HOTEL OFFER THE POSSIBILITY OF USING CHAIRS?

The hotel offers the possibility of sunbeds. All sunbeds are disinfected after use and removed to the prescribed extent.
